MTA Approved · Bromley, Christchurch
Servicing, repairs and WOFs done properly in Bromley, with a soft spot for classics and hot-rods. Run by Chris and Sandra, rated five stars by Christchurch drivers who keep coming back.
Old School Garage is a Bromley workshop where the cars get looked at by someone who has done this for years, not rushed through a booking quota. Chris does the spanner work and Sandra keeps the front of house running, so you get straight answers, fair prices and a garage that remembers your car next time.
The name is not just for show. Pull up out the back of Lupins Lane and you will find a 1937 Studebaker, the odd matte-black muscle car and a waiting room full of Route 66 memorabilia.
What we do
Warrants, servicing and repairs for everyday cars, vans and 4x4s, with the know-how to handle the older and modified stuff most shops would rather not touch.

Book a WOFRegular servicing to keep your car healthy and your running costs down. Filters, fluids, brakes and the things that quietly wear out before they leave you stranded.
From power steering and driveline to the awkward intermittent gremlins. Chris has been at this a long time and knows where to look. Fair prices, work explained.
Older iron and modified builds are welcome here. The workshop is full of them, so a carburettor or a points setup is a treat, not a problem.
Warrant of Fitness
No pressure, no upselling. If something needs doing we will show you and give you a fair price, and if it passes you are on your way.

The people behind it
Old School Garage is run by Chris and Sandra, a husband-and-wife team who treat your car like it is parked in their own driveway. Chris is the hands in the workshop, the kind of mechanic who can chase a tricky fault and actually fix it. Sandra looks after everyone out front, and the families who come in remember being well looked after.
Inside the garage
Drop your car in and you are not sitting in a sterile waiting room. There are classics on the hoist, petrol-station memorabilia on every wall and a couch worth pulling up. It is a workshop with character, run by people who genuinely love cars.

A note from the builder
I am Si from ProperSites. I build a real, working site for a business before I ever pitch it, so what you are looking at is the actual thing, made for Oldschool Garage, not a template with your name dropped in or a quote for something that does not exist yet.
The site is yours to keep. It is was $997 $697 to make it live on your own domain, then $49 a month just keeps it hosted and looked after. Month to month, never a lock-in, and if you ever leave you take the site with you. Most builders are the opposite: stop paying and your site disappears. Not here.
